Born in North Grove, IN she has been a resident of Cocoa, FL for the past year she was a former 20 year resident of Spanish Lakes Fairways in Fort Pierce, FL.
Betty was an avid card player and enjoyed playing pinochle at Spanish Lakes and she also enjoyed reading.
Survivors include, daughter, Patricia Vaughn, of Cocoa, FL, sister, Billie Armstrong, of Greentown, IN, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John (Dick) Gross and son, Rick Gross.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL at 11:00am with Deacon Jack Raisch officiating.
