Dot was born April 9, 1927, Brockton, Massachusetts to George E. and Edna Benson Davis. There are no surviving family members. She was 91 years old.
She was a graduate of University of Massachusetts and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1949. She retired from the National Girl Scouts of America after 29 years of service. She served as their Property Manager.
After retirement she traveled world wide as an expert Birder. Her list of birds were more than 700.
She volunteered at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution/FAU for many years. She was a member of several local organizations including Daughters of American Revolution and National Audubon Society.
Her ashes will be sprinkled on one of her favorite birding sites - the shores of Lake Tozour.
