Edith Emmel

Born in Darby, PA, she has been a resident of Florida, FL for the past 27 years, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ and Jupiter, FL.

Edith was a graduate of Immaculata College in PA. Prior to retirement, Edith was a school teacher for over 20 years, at Cherry Hill High School West. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Survivors include, sons, Matthew and wife Judith Emmel, of Severna Park, MD, Martin and wife Arlene Emmel, of Stratford, NJ and Michael and wife Rebecca Emmel, of Cherry Hill, NJ, daughters, Michele and husband Joseph Mutchers, of Vero Beach, FL and Maryrita and husband John Eddleman, of Kinnelon, NJ, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Mulford and wife Lynda Emmel, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL from 9:00-10:00am. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL at 10:30am, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
