Born in Washington, North Carolina, Edith has been a resident of Indian River County for the past 50 years, spending the first 26 years in Vero Beach and the last 24 years in Sebastian. She was a homemaker that was devoted to her family.
Edith is survived by her husband of 66 years, William L. Kinnison; daughters Kelley K. Kinnison of Sebastian, FL, and Judy Deane Houle of North Borough, MA; and 3 grandchildren, Jared Smith, Jenna Smith and Joshua Smith. She was predeceased by her sisters Belva Rowland, Pansy Stubbs, and Doris Lewis; brothers Elbert, LeRoy, and James Lewis.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, with a funeral service officiated by Edith’s nephew Rev. Jim Lynn Kinnison, beginning at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway One, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
