Born in Akron, OH he has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 23 years, formerly of Pompano, FL and Aberdeen, MD.
Edward was a United States Army Air Corp. veteran, serving in World War II.
Prior to retirement, he was a Station Agent for Pennsylvania Central Railroad for 43 years. Upon moving to Florida, he worked for the Seaboard Coastline Railroad in Pompano, FL and he was a member of Lakewood Park United Methodist Church, Fort Pierce, FL. He was also a collector of railroad memorabilia.
Survivors include, daughter, Janet Mae Frazier, of Fort Pierce, FL, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Wilkinson, son, Edward D. Wilkinson and 1 grandson.
