After graduation from high school, Eileen moved to Denver, Colorado, where she met her husband, and the love of her life, at a USO dance. They fell in love, and were married in 1946. They resided in Columbus, Ohio, and Reynoldsburg, Ohio for the next 33 years.
Eileen and Wayne moved to the Vero Beach, Florida area in 1983, after they both hard retired. Before retirement, Eileen worked for the State of Ohio as a secretary in the Attorney Gernal Office for 20 years. Eileen then took a position as a secretary in the Federal Attorney Office and retired fully after 10 years of service.
Eileen and Wayne then moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida. Eileen was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church of Ft. Pierce, she was also a member of the Spanish Lakes Country Club Village Home Owners Association.
She was predeceased by her husband Wayne in 1995, her sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Kenneth Lovell, and brother-in-law Douglas Wheeler. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Marjorie and Kenneth Myers of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; grandsons, Kenneth Myers II and Chris and his wife Joy of Delaware, Ohio; three great granddaughters, Molle, Mary K. and Holly all of Delaware, Ohio; also survived by Patricia Wheeler of Bellville, Washington; many special nieces and nephews. She was also survived by many special friends Dick and Linda Stonecypher, good neighbors, Beebee, Dottie and Rose as well as all the ladies who worked in this medical group.
Graveside services were held Hillcrest Memorial Gardens - Aycock Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce, with Kenneth Myers officiating.
