She was born in the parish of St James, Jamaica W.I., on February 6, 1924, to Nathaniel Allen and Ada Trout, and was raised in Whithorn by her father. After graduating high school, Estella joined the Jamaica Constabulary Force as a district constable (DC).
She then relocated to Savana-la-mar, where she lived with her sons. She migrated to the USA in 1965 where she worked in the health care field, for many years until her retirement, at which time she relocated to Vero Beach, Florida where she enjoyed family, sewing, crocheting, travelling and gardening.
She was also an active member of the Anchor Point United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her sons- Calman Stewart and wife Pamella, Collin Allen and wife Jasmine, Howard Tingling and wife Catherine, sister, Muriel Chin, brother Roland Gooden, 8 grandchildren - Colminton, Jascolin, Patman, Calman, Monique, Sarylee, Flavia and Galen. 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
