Franklin Juanita Palmer

Juanita was born October 30, 1927 in Atlanta Georgia, one of five children, her parents were Lester and Alma Blair Nixon. She spent most of her life in Atlanta, and the last eight years in Chatsworth, GA and Fort Pierce, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Leonard Chadwick of Atlanta, Lester Cleveland Jr. of Anniston, AL, John Wynton of Atlanta, James Grady of Atlanta, Jack Ellington of Athens, TX, Alfred as an infant in Atlanta. Sister Alma Elizabeth Nixon of Atlanta, Son Robert Wayne Mayes of Dawsonville and infant grandson James M Palmer.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Philip Cunniffe of Chatsworth GA, daughter and son-in--law Darlene and Charles Jardine of Fort Pierce, FL, son and daughter-in-law, James Lee "Buster" Palmer and Theresa Taylor of Covington GA and, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Cindi Palmer of Dacula, GA.

Seven Grand Children:

Shannon Mayes Allen, Daniel Palmer, Christy Palmer, Tiffany Roberts Briggs, Eugene A "Trey" Roberts III, Amber Roberts and Brittany Palmer.

Eight Great Grand Children:

Jerry Patton, Katie Allen, Cheyenne Palmer, Makayla Palmer, Melody Hankin, Carter Briggs, Cullen Briggs and Quinn Franklynn Briggs.

One Great Great Grandchild:

Braylee Palmer

The Interment and graveside services will be on Saturday December 17th, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Atlanta Georgia.

The family suggest that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Juanita Palmer's name be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or the Treasure Coast Hospice (Tchospice.org).
