Born in Lynn, MA he has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 27 years, formerly of Lynn, MA.
Frederick was a United States Army veteran, serving in World War II. Prior to retirement, he worked as a manager for 23 years for Raytheon in Andover, MA. He was a member of the VFW in Ossipee, NH. He enjoyed using the computer. Frederick was a prolific writer and corresponded with many friends and also enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling. Frederick was active in reunions of the 489th Armored Division. He was decorated by France for his efforts in liberating their country, during the invasion of Normandy.
Survivors include, wife of 68 years, Margaret Anderson, of Fort Pierce, FL, daughter, Carol Leigh White, of Townsend, MA, sisters, Constance Regina Anderson, of Lynn, MA and Rose Edmond, of Utica, NY, grandson, Ethan Plante and granddaughter, Alissa Anderson. He was predeceased by his son Paul Francis Anderson.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL from 2:00pm-3:00pm. A memorial service will be at 3:00pm, followed by a life celebration.
