Gary was born in Fraser, MI and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for many years.
Gary served in the United States Marine Corps.
Gary loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was also a ballroom dance instructor.
Survivors include his wife, of 34 years, Jill; daughter Ashley Tyler (Chris); brothers, Raymond Carlson and Ken Carlson; sister, Lynne Wahnefried and many other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
