She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Reid, daughter Heather, son Ryan (Susan), grandchildren Noah and Lana, as well as many other family and
life-long friends whom she cherished like family.
Gay was born on June 20, 1949, in Rockville Centre, NY. She grew up on Long Island, NY and attended Lynbrook High School.
Gay and her family moved to Florida in 1977 where she worked as a pre-school teacher at the Community Church. Recently, she worked as an activity director at FL Baptist Retirement Center. Gay had a passion for organization, loved to cook and spending time with family and friends.
Gay was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and ability to make people laugh and her calm and gentle nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service for Gay will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 US-1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
