Gerald Stewart

Born in Hornell, New York, Mr. Stewart had previously lived in Rochester, New York before moving to the Fort Pierce area in1977.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement he was an insurance agent and worked for Brown and Brown Insurance in Ft. Pierce as well as Riedman Insurance in New York, and Fort Pierce.

Gerald was a member of the American Legion in New York, and was of Presbyterian faith. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed boating and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Tonja Gray; son, Steve Stewart (Maneesha); daughters, Tracy Stewart; Leslie Toback (Cliff); Deborah Cleveland (Dan); step-sons, Geoff Richardson (Heidi); Brian Jacobson; Chad Witkowski (LeTeshiya); step-daughters, Leslie Underwood; Michele Jacobson; Melissa Ester (Tim); sister, Ernestine Kelley and numerous grandchildren.

Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Margie; brother, Harold Stewart; and sister, Judy Stewart.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, Florida.
