Bob and Gladys will always be treasured friends. Their goodness, loving kindness, and wonderful senses of humor made it a delight to be around them. We are deeply grateful for the time we had with them and for the impact of their friendship and good example on our lives.

My prayers go out to the family in this time of loss. The bible tells us to "rejoice with people who rejoice; weep with people who weep." (Romans 12:15) I share your grief.

In remembering two warm and loving people, Robert and Gladys Monroe. I will always be grateful for everything you did for me and my family. Your love and kindness has made a never ending and unforgettable impression in my life.

One of the best, sweetest, kindest ladies I remember from my childhood. I remember visiting her house, playing in her yard, and always looking at her as another grandmother. So beautiful, elegant, and an example to all. Her and her sweet husband were the best people. So happy that they are together again.

Dear Gladys, during the 20 years that we lived in Vero Beach you and Bob were like our second parents. Thanks for the countless hours we spent at your home and on the phone over the years. We love you and miss you, but we are so glad that you and Bob are together again. We look forward to the day when we will all be united.

Gladys and Bob were wonderful friends and treated our kids like their own grandchildren when they were growing up in Vero Beach.  Their marriage was exemplary and their selfless service was appreciated by all.  We are happy to know that they are together again.

The warmest and most loving individual I think I have ever met. Classy and humble. A great example to all. Loved ams missed but glad she is now home and with Bob.

One of the first woman I ever met at Church, she welcomed me with open arms, and a warm smile that I felt came from the depths of her heart...I can say I truly loved her.  Oh the Joy the Heavens must be feeling, even as those left behind are mourning...Godspeed Gladys.

I will forever remember Bob and Gladys Monroe, their unending kindness and wonderful company made an everlasting impression on my childhood and my life. They both served as beautiful examples of lives well lived.

One of my favorite people in the whole world. Always so classy and dignified. My family loves you Gladys. Give Bob a big kiss for us.
