Irene Kent

Born in Detroit, MI, she was a resident of Clinton Twp, MI until 1985 when she came to Port Saint Lucie, FL and has resided for the past 25 years.

Prior to retirement, she worked for the St. Lucie County Clerk of Courts as a Deputy Clerk for 15 years in Fort Pierce, FL.

She was an member and active in the choir of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was also a member of the Polish National Alliance and a former volunteer at St. Lucie Medical Center.

She enjoyed reading and playing her piano. She also enjoyed attending local symphonic concerts, opera and broadway shows. But she loved spending time with her three grandchildren.

Survivors include, daughter, Karen H. Kent, of Port St. Lucie, FL, son, Stephen J. Kent, of St. Clair, MI, daughter-in-law, Amy Kent, of St. Clair, MI, grandson, Bradley Kent, granddaughters, Mackenzie Kent and Samantha Kent. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur John Kent and son, Kenneth John Kent.

Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice.

Services will be held at a later date.
