Jeannie was born in New York City, NY and had been a resident of Port St Lucie for 27 years coming from New York.
In her early years, Jeannie had been a business owner. She enjoyed travelling, square dancing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Fischer (Dawn), of Rockville, MD, Jeffrey Fischer (Suzy), of Boston, MA; sister, Sally Baumel, of Queens, NY and 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Fischer.
Services will be held at 11:30am on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL.
