Joan M. Quain

She was born in Tarrytown, NY, and moved to the area 8 years ago coming from Pleasantville, NY.

Joan was a District Data Systems Manager for AT&T in New York for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of Notre Dame Mission Catholic Church in Ft Pierce, FL. She was an alumnus of Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, class of 1956. Joan was also a member of Pelican Yacht Club and the Pioneers of AT&T both of Ft Pierce, FL, and the Tarrytown Boat Club of Tarrytown, NY, Con Ed retirees of Westchester, NY, and served on many committees in Ocean Village.

Survivors include, husband of 54 years, Francis X. Quain Jr. of Ft Pierce, FL, two sisters, Eileen Emery of Ft Pierce, FL and Mary Beth Stiglin of Fairfield Glade, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL, from 2:00-6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday December 15th at 10:30 AM at Notre Dame Mission Catholic Church, in Ft Pierce, FL. A Graveside service will be held on December 20th 2011 at 10:30am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mount Pleasant NY.
