Born in Philadelphia, PA he has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 39 years, formerly of NJ.
John was a United States Navy veteran, serving in World War II.
John was a graduate of LaSalle College. Prior to retirement, he worked for the Reading, Chicago and Eastern Illinois, and Missouri Pacific Railroads. After moving to Florida he was a Broker/Owner of Beach Real Estate.
Survivors include, wife of 41 years, Jacqueline “Jackie” Swartz, daughter, Jacy Whiddon, of Fort Pierce, FL and sister, Helen Schickling, of Penndel, PA.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL at 11:15am.
