Kenny was hands down one of my favorite people at cheddars, working with him was an experience I was so happy to have. I remember running to do his lottery numbers for him when he would forget to put them in that morning lol. He had such a pure soul. Everytime you seen me start getting in the weeds you would remind me that I was a great worker, even made me a smoothie every now and then with a heart on top to let me know I did a great job. I wish everyday I could’ve been able to tell him goodbye before I left Cheddars. Kenny you are so deeply missed, I wish you could’ve seen all of the people that truly loved you. I may not be at cheddars anymore but I already know you left a big hole in the hearts of everyone there. God gained another beautiful angel. We had amazing conversations that I will cherish forever. Rest easy my friend.

I am very saddened to have heard of Kenny's passing. I've worked with Kenny for the past 2 years. He is a kind, loving soul, who always spoke highly of his children, & family. We've shared many laughs about music, concerts, food, & of course drinks. Kenny's passion to make the most delicious drinks. -your presents will surely be treasured & missed. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Fly high Kenny, RIP.

Ken was the reason we loved going to Cheddars. When deciding where to go for dinner, my husband would always say, "Lets go see my brother from another mother" since they both shared the same name. We love sharing conversation regarding sports, family, and politics. He was such a gentle soul, you couldn't help but love him. He will truly missed as Cheddars will not be the same without him. That won't stop us from going as the rest of the bar staff are just as apprecited.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family .

Kindest regards, Ken and Karen Poates

My boyfriend, Michael Sackaris, and I frequented Kenny's place of work at Cheddar. We would talk a lot about Nascar. Kenny was a kind hearted man. We enjoyed our conversations with him. We just found out about his passing....we were very shocked to hear of this news.

Sending our sincerest condolences to all those who knew and loved Kenny. We remember a gentle soul of a man who greeted us on our first visit to Cheddar's, now almost 3 years ago. We would try to sit in the bar area and he would more than likely be there working...we don't think that he took many days off. He would always greet us and engage in conversation, if he had the time. We were so shocked to hear of his passing and sad for our loss, and for the loss that so many others also feel... many have so beautifully expressed that here. Kenny, we will remember you in our hearts always! John & Glenn

Oh my we have lost a wonderful individual I met him on one of his busy nights at Cheddars. He was always polite respectful and very friendly. We use to run into each other at Publix to buy lotto tickets. Walked in today at Cheddars and ask fir him and my heart dropped when heard that God called his number. I will miss him but will never forget that kind soul. May you Rest In Peace.

We’ve only known Kenny for a year but he was a lot of fun to talk to at Cheddars. He had great insights on politics and world happenings. He was always smiling even when things weren’t going quite right and he always had a joke for us.

The last day we spoke with him he was upset that things were not going right at his job. He wanted everything to go right, and was very professional there. He cared about all of his customers and made sure they were taken care of and had a good time.

Our prayers go to his family especially his son who he spoke of often. I think he was an Atlanta Falcons fan, and I will cheer for the Atlanta Falcons in his honor. Kenny will surely be missed by his family and we are very saddened by this very unexpected loss.🙏🏻💙

My deepest condolences and prayers to Kenny’s family. In the short 3 years I had the pleasure of working with Kenny, he was such a great soul to know and work beside. He was a loyal employee, and always so good at holding a conversation. I will always remember the sincere life advice he would give me and the witty jokes he’d always brighten the mood with. Kenny, you will seriously be missed. The Cheddar’s bar won’t be the same without you. I’m so grateful to have met and known you. Rest easy my friend.

To the family let me start off by saying I’m so sorry for the loss of Kenny to try and find words to ease this huge loss are near to impossible so instead I would like to share with you my relationship with Kenny , it was an honor to be able to call him my friend because he was always there for me anytime I needed a shift covered or just a friend to listen to me, he truly took pride in his work and all his bar guests being happy was his priority, Kenny and I spoke at least 3 times a week on the phone about anything and sometimes just nothing those phone calls are going to be extremely missed as well as his witty sense of humor. I was lucky to have known Kenny and even more lucky to have had him as one of my dearest friends...you will be missed deeply Kenny, fly high and I am not sure if there is lotto in heaven but keep playing your numbers rest easy my friend....
