I HAD THE VERY FORTUNATE BLESSING TO HAVE KNOWN LARRY HART IN UPSTATE NY (STAATSBURG)  AND FEEL MOST BLESSED TO HAVE HIM AS A FRIEND GROWING UP (IN OTHER WORDS I HAVE KNOWN LARRY SINCE I WAS 10 YRS OLD.

We loved his easy going ways and big Irishman friendliness. A friend told us when he heard of Larry's passing that an old Italian woman told him many years ago that the gates of heaven are wide open on Good Friday between the hours of Noon and 3 PM.  If that is the case Larry roared through those gates  last Friday. He was a true believer and coupled his faith with a steady stream of good works.  He was a joy to be around.  We want to thank both you and Larry for entering our lives.  Once we knew that Dee was being cared for so nicely we knew both you and Larry were special compassionate people.  The more we got to know you both the more we realized how lucky we were to have you both as friends.  Alma you are one of the best  people and hosts we know.  Larry was a special person, someone who also made you feel at home with a sense of humor that always kept your spirits up.  We enjoyed every minute we spent with both of you and the more we saw you both the more we realized how much in common we had and enjoyed each others company.  Larry will be missed for the many ways he he cheered up people.  From joking with Dee to the way we knew he cared so much about others and with a positive outlook on life. Alma and family - What great memories I will always have of "Big Larry", having him as my manager for six years was a real test for a new Dept. Technician. Larry loved to see me get mad, and he would just laugh, and put an arm around me and tell me how he like to see the "hair raise up on the back of my neck!" A Mediterranean Cruise 55 years ago brought a Sailor and a Marine together for a long distance and special friendship.....then adding to that friendship an amazing wife and children.  Thank you God for such a blessing in our lIves and wonderful memories that our family can dwell on.

A great uncle....brought me and Chuck  back 28" italian race bikes when he was in the Navy.  I always loved to hear him play the piano at family get togethers.  Always ready to laugh or lend a helping hand.  I'll miss him terribly.
