Lucille Eugene Clarke-Auld was the third child born on September 28, 1913 to Aida Reed and Edward Clarke in Panama City, Republic of Panama. While in Panama Lucille had two children, Claudette Liverpool and Rosa Liverpool. In Panama, Lucille had a special gift for sewing; she attended a very prestigious school in Panama “Santa Familia” to enhance this skill.
Lucille came to the United States October 16, 1956 and worked in the garment industry. Later in life she became a citizen of the United States and shared those privileges of having the American dream with her children and her immediate family.
Lucille lived in Brooklyn, NY and married Cyril Auld in 1973. Lucille and Cyril moved to Freemont, CA. While in CA she became good friends with the “Edwards” family and eventually adopted their children. Fatima, Tazamisha and Changa and considered herself to be their grandmother. Lucille Auld moved to Vero Beach, FL and lived there approximately 20 years where she was a member of the Vero Beach First Church of the Nazarene. Lucille was a God fearing person who always extended herself to others, no matter what circumstances, putting others first. She loved eating out at “Golden Corral” and loved having visitors to her home.
Lucille had strong beliefs in God and could quote several passages from the Bible by memory. She strongly believed that all things are possible in faith and belief in God.
Lucille departed from this life on May 25, 2011 after being very ill. She leaves to survive her jubilance for life her two daughters,
Rosa E. Liverpool and Claudette Liverpool, her grandson, Lorenzo A. Liverpool and her granddaughter, Treva Nervis, her son-in-law Arthur Nervis, her great grandchildren, Analis Joie and Noemi Rose, step son, Joseph Auld, nephew, Earl Williams, niece Beverly Coleman, great nephews and great nieces and good friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10:00am at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
