Obituary of Marsha Lorraine Ebanks
Our beloved Marsha who will always be known as a woman of strong faith, prayer warrior and intercessor was tragically taken from us on September 18, 2022, at the age of 48 protecting those she loved. She was born in Mandeville, Jamaica to Clement Ebanks and Marlene Hutchinson on September 20, 1973. She moved to Chicago as a toddler and attended elementary school. She then moved to New York to finish elementary school at P.S. 122 and middle school at P.S. 143 in the Bronx, New York. She subsequently moved to Vero Beach, Florida to graduate high school in 1991. Marsha obtained her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Marsha’s occupations included cosmetologist, consultant, entrepreneur, notary public, board-certified mental health coach, and entrepreneur. Marsha had a love for photography, event planning, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Marsha was a loving mother to Robert Lenard Adams, Jr. and his wife Yelitza Ruiz-Adams, and devoted Sha Sha (grandmother) to Faith Adams and Jeremiah Adams. She is survived by her father Clement Ebanks, sisters, Andreen Ebanks and Michelle Wong; and nieces, Amari Stewart and Richelle Wong. She is preceded in death by her sister, Sonja Ebanks and paternal grandmother Louise Ebanks. Marsha was a supernova and cannot be explained in words. She operated in this universe like the God she served. She was bigger than life itself and put everyone’s needs before her own. Marsha was a fighter who possessed the anointing of God. She will forever be missed.
