Mary Becker

Ft. Pierce, FL- M. Margaret “Peg” Becker, 98, of Ft. Pierce, FL, and formerly of Beans Cove, PA, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at Brookdale Nursing Home, Vero Beach, FL.

Born May 21, 1918, in Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Becker was the daughter of the late James Cleveland Bridges and Maude Estella (Donahoe) Bridges. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C. Lawrence Becker; two sons: Gary L. Becker and Marvin L. Becker; her sisters: Lucille Swan, and Rose Marie Ketterman; her brothers: Vincent, Allen, Charles, Franklin, Lawrence, James, Kenneth, and Clyde Bridges.

Peg was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church; Ladies of the Moose, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #245.

Peg is survived by her son: Kenneth H. Becker and wife, Donna, Ft. Pierce, FL; her brother: John Bridges and wife, Florence, Cumberland, MD; and her sister: Frances Ketterman, Beans Cove, PA; her grandson: Christopher Becker; a great grandson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Seven Dolors Catholic Church on Monday, Setpember 12, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., with Father Derek Fairman as celebrant.

Interment will be in Seven Dolors Cemetery.
