

Mary Lou Pursley who died in Vero Beach at the age of 92 was born and raised in New Bedford, MA. She was a devoted wife, mother, loving sister, and friend to many. She was a devoted Catholic and strong advocate of the Right to Life. Faith, family, friends, and a sense of humor were her mainstay throughout life.
Mary Lou is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Margaret Kelley, a brother Father Jim Kelley of MA and AK, and U.S.N., and infant daughter, Jean Marie.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bob, and their special son, Jim, a brother Fred and his wife Claire of Norton MA, sisters Hilary Kelley of Mahopac NY, and Denise Crompton and her husband Bob of Nashua NH. Also, her husband's children, Dane and his wife Marianne Pursley of RI, Kim Goff of NH, and Dale Pursley of AZ.
At Mary Lou's request, there will be no wake. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John of the Cross Church, as arranged by the family, following which there will be a private burial service in Fort Pierce.
