

Mary was born in Chicago IL and had been a resident of Vero Beach, FL. for 40 years coming from Chicago, IL.
In her early years Mary had been the Executive Secretary to the Head of the Chicago Railroad in IL. She also managed the Medical Records department for an Illinois hospital. Mary was also a Girl Scout, Cub Scout and Brownie Troop leader. Mary was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. She was formally the President of the St Helen Catholic Church Womens Club. Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Bingo with her husband, Jack, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.
Survivors include her son, John Whitford, of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Mary Jill Hardin, of Sarasota, FL; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Whitford.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A Reception will follow the Memorial Service at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce FL.
