

Maureen Huber, born May 30th, 1938 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn passed away restfully on April 3rd, 2017. Her childhood was spent in New Hyde Park, before graduating from The Grace Institute (1957). Maureen and her husband Neil married in 1959, and bought their first home in East Northport, NY. They subsequently lived in Framingham, MA, Madison, CT, Duxbury, MA, and Plantation, FL, before finally settling in Fort Pierce in 2001.
Maureen gifted Holy Family Church (Duxbury, MA) with her captivating soprano voice as the primary soloist for many years. After the move to Florida, to fulfill her love of music, she became involved with Sweet Adelines, and most recently belonged to the mixed chorus in their Spanish Lakes Fairways community. She was a member of the Vero Beach United States Power Squadron, the Vero Beach Antique Automobile Club of America, and both the Long Island and New England Clubs at Spanish Lakes. Maureen was a dog lover, gourmet food enthusiast (especially ice cream), and enjoyed traveling, not just to sight-see, but to create lasting memories with family and friends.
Maureen is pre-deceased by her parents (Edward and Mary Dillon) and one brother (Robert). Maureen is survived by her devoted husband, Neil; her loyal brother Terry; her three beloved sons, Keith, Craig, and Glenn; her adoring daughter, Joy; her thoughtful grandson, Tyler, and great-grandson Jonathan.

Viewing will be 2-6PM on Sunday, April 9th, at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 US-1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. Funeral mass will be held at 10am, Monday April 10th, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1924 Zephyr Ave, Fort Pierce, FL 34982. Maureen will be buried at the South Florida National Veterans Cemetery in Palm Beach, FL.
