

Born in Astoria, NY he has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 12 years, formerly of Lyndhurst, NY.
Michael was a United States Navy veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean War.
Prior to retirement, he was the owner and operator of Hammer Brothers Appliance and Repair, for 10 years in Flushing, NY. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1520, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 40 and the VFW Post 10554, all in Fort Pierce, FL.
Survivors include, wife, Jean Cardone, sons, Michael Cardone, Jr., of Berlin, MA and Richard Cardone, of Forest Hills, NY, daughters, Janice Dragotto, of St. James, NY and Diane Ryan, of Franklyn Square, NY, brother, Vincent Cardone, of Fort Pierce, FL, sister, Marie Verdrosa, of Flushing, NY, grandchildren, Curinne Polizzi, Danielle Ryan, Tiffany Dragotto and Frankie Dragotto and great granddaughter, Gianna Infantaliao.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL form 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fort Pierce, FL at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
