She enjoyed sewing and crocheting but would drop everything in favor of spending time with her family. Nancy married the love of her life (Clifford Edward Desmond) on June 22nd, 1957. She had dated him for 4 years prior to that. They were married for 61 years when Cliff (Pepe) passed on September 10th of 2018. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her! Funeral Services will be held at Aycock Funeral Home at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on January 12, 2019 at 3:00pm with viewing from 2:30 to 3:00 and Burial at 4:00pm. Mom had so much love for all of us...She didn't pick favorites, all 7 of us were her favorites. She always reminded me there was no good luck, only good blessings, she said luck could be bad but blessings never are. I keep having to remind myself that her passing, in it's own way was a blessing too. Mom and Dad had 65 years together here on earth. Now they have eternity together with God, what better blessing could there be? Rest with the Angels Mom. I love you so much! Love, Dolly.

Grandma was the strongest most loving and caring person I've ever met. No one can ever compare to her love for her family. And no one can ever replace her. I will miss all our laughs together and all our serious conversations. I will never forget her and will always love her.
