Nancy F. Koppenhoefer

Born on January 6, 1940, in Columbus, Mississippi, Nancy lived a life centered around family, love, strength, and kindness. She was known for her warm smile, sense of humor, strong faith, generosity, resilience, love of family and friends, caring for others and a strong-willed personality. Her home and heart were always open for anyone. Nancy shared a loving marriage with her late husband, John R. Koppenhoefer. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Before Retirement, Nancy worked for the St. Lucie County School Board for 30 years.

Nancy is preceded in Death by her Husband, John R. Koppenhoefer, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, and her youngest daughter, Rhonda Koppenhoefer, of Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Nancy was the oldest of 10 children; Willie Earl (Sharon), Constance (John), Glenda (Jack), James (Barbara), Neil (Anita), Joann (Paul), Susan Lynette (Mike), Anna May, and Patricia Kay (Larry).

Nancy and John (Bob) had 4 Children, and is survived by her 3 Children. David Allen, Sr. of Vero Beach, Florida, Susan Poveromo (Mike) of Pt. St. Lucie, Florida, and Diane (Bill) of Vero Beach, Florida. Nancy leaves behind 10 Grand Children, 14 Great Grand Children, 5 Great Great Grand Children, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

The family asks that Nancy be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the love, guidance, and compassion she shared so freely with everyone around her.

Visitation will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 N US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, Fl. 34946 on May 30, 2026 from 9:00am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
