Ray J. Lincoln

Born in Los Angeles, California, Ray had been a resident of Sebastian since 1979, coming from Norfolk, Virginia. Ray served for 24 years in the United States Navy. After his retirement from the Navy, he then worked as a corrections officer for the State of Florida in Vero Beach for another 21 years.

Ray was a member of American Legion Post 189 in Sebastian, and was the President of the Indian River County Bowling Association.

Ray is survived by his son Steven M. Lincoln of Sebastian, FL; daughter Deborah Boisclair and her husband Robert of Buford, SC; stepson Cliff Heath and his wife Heather of Roseland, FL; stepdaughter Christine Falls and her husband Anthony of Roseland, FL; 6 grandchildren Steven Edward Lincoln, Jessica Kay Lincoln, Christian Lincoln, Mitchell Carter, Carolyn Heath, and David Heath; and one great granddaughter Savannah Belle.

A funeral service will be at 1:00pm, on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Roseland United Methodist Church in Roseland, FL. Interment with military honors will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 189 High School Scholarship Fund, 807 Louisiana Avenue, Sebastian, FL 32958, or to Roseland United Methodist Church.
