Ruth Elizabeth Burk

have a memory or condolence to add?

June 15, 2019

I was saddened to hear that Elizabeth passed away. I remember many family visits to the Kelly home in Goshen, OH when my mother (Mary Bishop Ritchie) and Ruth Kelly were sisters. Elizabeth was always smiling and a happy girl. The pass year I was interested to see your family posts on Facebook. She was fortunate to have a loving and caring family around her. My thoughts are with you and your family,

Elizabeth was my mom's Martha Jane Riggs cousin. We are sadden for the loss of Elizabeth. My mom would mention her when we talk about family history because they hung out when they were children. I will miss seeing her postings on facebook, it gave me a closer connection to her. I might have met her when I was very young. I will never forgot her smile and her pink cast...just made me laugh. She will be missed. Prayers for the family and friends. She was a lovely funny lady.

Elizabeth was a wonderful cousin of our mother Harriet St. Louis. Our sincerest condolences to the Kelly and Burk family as you go through this very sad time. Our mom always got excited when she talked about her cousin Elizabeth and in this last year has been so happy, along with the rest of the St. Louis family spending time with Buddy and Marianne in Cincinnati.

Elizabeth and I were friends and Book Club Members. I was very fond of her; she was a sweet, soft-spoken lady, and I missed her when she moved away from Vero Beach. I am very sorry that we have lost her; the world needs people like Elizabeth. People come in and out of our lives over the years, and I'm happy that Elizabeth came into mine. I am sending thoughts of comfort to Amber, Elizabeth Rose, Elaine, and Phyllis, and of course all of her other children, grandchildren, and family members. May she rest in Paradise. Carol Boulet

My husband, and I wanted to let the whole family know how much we thought of Mrs. Burk. I have known her since I was a very young teenager. I would walk home from Stuart Middle School with Amber when they lived on Akron Ave. It has been several months since I last had spent anytime with her. I have always enjoyed our talks and the time we did get to spend together. She will always be in my heart. With all my love. Yvonne
