Sally Ruth Schultz

Sally Ruth Schultz,88, died March 14, 2022. She was born, raised and attended school in Norfolk, NE. She received her nursing degree from Wesley Memorial Hosp in Chicago in 1954. She married Don L. Schultz, MD, who graduated from Northwestern Univ. School of Medicine. They were married in Norfolk, NE in June 1954, then went to Bethesda, MD where Don interned at the naval hospital while Sally worked as an RN in a local hosp. They were fortunate to have 67 years of happiness before Don’s passing in 2021.

In 1963, Sally and Don came to Vero Bech, FL where they raised their three children Patricia Schultz White, Kurt Schultz and Lisa Schultz Smith.

In 1973, Sally became a realtor where she always enjoyed meeting new people. She was known for her red lipstick and brilliant smile. Sally was also a great animal lover. Her other varied interests included duplicate bridge, tennis, traveling, golf and chardonnay at cocktail hour.

Sally loved getting her family together, especially during holidays. She was the glue that held the family together. Her four grandchildren John S. White, Lauren White deCiutiis, Sydney Schultz and Suzanna Schultz, as well as her two great grands Adele and Giovanni deCiutiis, will miss these special times as well.

Everyone who knew Sally knew she was full of life and a force to be reckoned with.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family. At Sally’s request there will be no memorial service. Her cremains will be placed with her husband’s at the Veterans cemetery in Lakeworth.
