Therese was born in Cleveland, OH and had been a longtime resident on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
Prior to retirement, Therese worked as a private care nurse in Port St Lucie and Fort Pierce, FL. She enjoyed gardening and loved growing her roses.
Therese was a member of St John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.
She is survived by her niece, Sherry Green, of Indianapolis, IN; 1 nephew; 2 nieces; 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Claude Bakos, Rudolph Bakos (Mary), parents, Rudolpf and Therese Bakos, stepfather, Frank and niece, Geraldine.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday July 8, at St John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
