Violet was born in Orlando, FL and has been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past 43 years coming from Orlando, FL.
Prior to retirement Violet was the owner and developer of Village Marina of Fort Pierce. Violet was also a member of Riverview Baptist Church of Fort Pierce. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening.
Survivors include sons Wesley Taylor and wife Karen of Fort Pierce, FL, grandchildren Lindsey McLam and husband Scott, Charley Pratt and wife Becky, Jennifer Ritchie and husband Andy, Allison Walters and husband Eddie and eight great grandchildren.
Violet was preceded in death by her husbands Everett Taylor and Henry Willhoite
A visitation will be held from 11:00am – 12:30pm with a funeral service at 12:30pm on Monday October 13, 2014 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce FL. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
