Wentz Jerome Henry Shanaberger died January 5, 2026. He was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania December 17, 1944.Wentz was formerly of Sarasota and Zephyrhills, Florida. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl Flicker. He had two sons Wentz J. H Killed in Action in Iraq and Wentz Niles. Wentz has two sisters June Derr and Lisa Fischer and one brother Michael. He has six grandchildren, Scott, Jesse, Audrey Petrovski, Grace,Jack and Wentz Niles Michael. He has 3 great grandchildren Hazel and Blaire Petrovski and Mason. Parents were Wentz H. And Dorothy Curtin. Wentz was a Sgt E-5 in the USMC and served in Viet Nam from 1965 until 1969, He was an ASE certified diesel mechanic and a member of the VVA1041 and International Harvester Collectors Club Florida Chapter.Contributions may be made to Veterans Organizations.
