Allan Robertson

Allan passed away April 2, 2016 in Melville, Saskatchewan at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his parents John M. and Annie (nee Todd) Robertson, siblings Evelyn in infancy, Robert Robertson, Ethelyn Powell and Alma Huber; sister-in-law Lillian Robertson; brothers-in-law Harry Powell and Arthur Huber; and niece Betty Robertson.

Allan is survived by his nieces and nephews: Murray Powell, Margery (Dennis) Materi, Bobby Robertson, Bob (Sheila) Huber, Bill (Jan) Huber and Jeannie (Robert) Gibbons, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Allan was born in the Tullymet District, North of Balcarres, Saskatchewan on July 2, 1919. He farmed in the area and worked for the Rural Telephone Company for many years. He was no stranger to volunteerism and also served on various community committees.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Balcarres with Rev. Brian R. Mee officiating. Cremation with interment in Balcarres Cemetery.

Immediately following Allan's interment a brief graveside service will be held in honour of Elizabeth Robertson who passed away on December 17, 2015.
