Anne was born January 22, 1931 at home in Lipton. She was the fifth child of eight born to William and Marie (Uhrich) Fry. Anne lived and went to school in the Lipton district. Later moved to Regina and worked for Sears. She married Ralph (Mickey) Onrait on November 10, 1949. They farmed and had a busy life once their children came along, Sheila, Patrick, Bonnie and Colleen.
Later years, she and dad moved into Balcarres and our mom made apple pies and perogy’s for some extra cash so she could go to bingo and the casino once in awhile. She was the Avon Lady for many years. She enjoyed knitting and made an afghan for each of her grandchildren and most of her great-grandchildren. She also knit approximately 500 toques for the neonatal babies in Regina and Moose Jaw.
Anne was predeceased by her husband Mickey; son Patrick; brothers Harry and August; twin-brother John and Alfred; sisters: Ruth Middlkamp, Charlotte Onrait and Florence Osler and also all of her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Anne is survived by her daughters: Sheila (Robert) Huber, Bonnie (Wade) Dubiel and Colleen (Mitch) Bruneau; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
