Anne was born in Killaly, Saskatchewan on October 28,1924 to Anthony Paidel and Elizabeth Novack. Anne was the sixth child in a family of fifteen children and the final surviving sibling.
Anne began working at a very young age. She worked for various farm families in the area eventually moving to Dysart where she met the love of her life George Spanier and they were married on October 30th, 1945.
Anne had her first child, Arnold in 1946, followed by Shirley in 1949, Mary in 1950 and Patricia in 1961. Anne worked hard on the farm most of her life, but was also able to truly enjoy life's pleasures. Growing vegetables and having a very abundant flower garden allowed her to enjoy watching her hummingbirds all of summer and spend time with her family. Anne especially loved spending time with her grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
Sadly Anne saw the passing of her husband George in 1999, her son Arnold in
2020, her daughters Shirley in 1959 and Mary in 1950.
Anne is survived by her loving daughter Patricia (Greg) Stecyk; daughter-in-law Jeannette Spanier; grandchildren: Craig (Lora) Spanier, Keith (Jackie) Spanier, Christopher (Candi) Stecyk, Brendon (Ashleigh) Stecyk, Devin (Kalene) Stecyk; great-grandchildren: Madison, Rianna, Alicia and Rory Spanier, Isabelle, Levi, Harper, Tucker, Lily, Sara and Evan Stecyk.
