Bruce will be deeply missed by his daughters Tracy (Nathan) Krenbrink and Andrea (Patrick) Beanland; his sister Joyce Nicholson and his grandchildren: Nolan, Addison and Max. Bruce also loved and was loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, former colleagues and family friends.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents Joyce and Richard Beanland.
Bruce was born on March 12, 1956 in Montreal. He later lived in Toronto before settling down in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. Bruce loved small-town living and his friends became family. Day or night, there was always an open invitation at the Beanland residence. Bruce was involved in many aspects of the town including sports teams, town council and volunteering. Bruce had a heart of gold and a genuine love for people and conversation. Bruce was employed by CP Rail and was a driver for The Indian Head Bakery. He loved both of his careers and had many stories and memories to share of his days on the track and the truck (many of which are best left out of print). For the past four years, Bruce has battled with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease took so much from Bruce, but it did not take away his love for his family and friends, his sense of humor, or his kind demeanor.
At Bruce’s request, there was no funeral.
If you so wish, you can donate to a charity of your choice or plant a tree in Bruce’s name!
