Elizabeth Pomoty

She will be remembered by her son Randy; her daughter Laura (John Stan); four grandchildren: Mariah, Colin, Kelsey and Amanda; five great-grandchildren: Kyra, Damek, Lea, Felix and Kade; sister-in-law Josephine Longney; brother-in-law John Pomoty (Colleen) and sisters-in-law Linda Pomoty and Betty Stadnyk (Murray). She will also be missed by her lifelong friends Myron and Sandy McLeod.

Beth was predeceased by her parents Harold and Louise Longney; her husband of 63 years Glen; her son Darren; her brothers Ernest and Daniel and her sister-in-law Joyce Longney.

Beth was born on June 23, 1941 on a farm near Roche Percee, Saskatchewan. In 1958, at the age of 17, she married the love of her life Glen Pomoty and they began a 63 - year journey through life together. They raised three children in Regina before moving to Fort Qu’Appelle in 2003. Beth loved to dance and her and Glen would travel to many towns around southern Saskatchewan to attend dances, making many new friends along the way.

A special thanks goes out to Beth’s many friends in Fort Qu’Appelle who have been there for her during her health struggles these past few months.

A celebration of Beth’s life will be held at a later date.
