On Sunday, November 17, 2013, Eugene James Goodwill Sr., Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation passed away at the age of 53 years. Eugene was born at the Fort Qu’Appelle Indian Hospital on July 16, 1960, predeceased by his father Clifford Sr., mother Elizabeth, brother Lawrence Dubois, sisters, Delia and Dale. Eugene is survived by his wife, Louella, his children, Eugene Jr., Eugene Smoker, Nitanis, Keitha Cote and other adopted children, siblings, Cindy (Sean), Lydia (Dwayne), Clifford, Fabian (Alanaise), Claudia (Gary), Ernie (Tiffany), as well as other grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Eugene volunteered at the Outreach Community Centre. A wake will be held in the Standing Buffalo School Gymnasium, on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Our Lady of Light R.C.
