Evelyn Osika

On Thursday, March 14, 2013, Evelyn Valerie Osika's suffering from cancer ended at the age of 72 years.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Valentine and Elsie (Schuster) Regel and infant brother Michael. She is survived by her loving husband Ken; three children: daughters Lianne (Darcy) Cretin and their children: Charlene, Andrew and Colleen and Sheila (Ron) Loos and their children Jacob and Amanda; son Ken Jr. Osika and children Amber, Gregory and Jonathan; brother Frank (Debbie) Regel and family; sister Betty (Gordon) Barnes and family.

Evelyn was born on July 17, 1940 in Regina, SK, oldest child of Val and Elsie Regel. Evelyn was a teacher, a farmer and dedicated wife and mother. Her family was her pride and joy. She was passionate about her family heritage, singing and loved to travel.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Fort Qu'Appelle, SK.

Visitation for family and friends will be in the Tubman Funeral Home, Fort Qu'Appelle, on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
