Ted Chickowski

August 17, 1936 – July 29, 2012

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ted on July 29, 2012 with his loving family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Frances Chickowski; father and mother in-law John and Mabel Kaluza; in-laws Walter Gulaga, Joe and Carol Kaluza, Stan Kaluza, and Donald Zimmer. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Dorothy; daughters Michelle (David) Ring, Raelyn (Steve) Bauer, Shantel (Steve) Korner; his grandchildren whom he adored, Mathew, Tanner and Karli Ring; Nicole, Jenna and Tyrel Bauer; Sydney and Emma Korner; his sister Clarice; his brother Dennis (Gloreen); sisters in law Cecile Zimmer, Emily Kaluza, Agnes (Jim) Horvath, Irene (Charles) Carroll, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral mass Celebrating Ted’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Fort Qu’Appelle with celebrants Reverend Ron Andree and Reverend Glenn Zimmer. Cremation with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire memorial donations may be sent to the Fort Qu’Appelle and District Lions Club, Box 35, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK, or the Knights of Columbus Council #129, Box 262, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK.
