It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Al Kline on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Al was a Correctional Officer with over 43+ years of service with the provincial government, an avid outdoorsman and expert tradesman capable of creating any type of tool or invention. Al shared his love of camping, fishing, boating, gardening, cooking, sledding and ATV’s with all who knew him. Al felt most at peace among the mountains, lakes and rivers and enjoyed taking and sharing the photographs he took in his effort to capture its serenity. Al is predeceased by his parents, William and Annette, sisters Theresa and Yvette and brother Harvey. Left to honour his life and legacy are Al’s wife and world, Lynne, children Terry-Lynn (Geoff), Jason (Candace) and Kimberley (Bryce), 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother Ernie (Donna), sisters Flo and Bertha, numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Although the family is unable to host a tribute at this time that is representative of the love and admiration he deserves, a celebration of Al’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made in Al’s name to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
