Alice Gail Yorke

1949 ~ 2010

Mrs. Alice Yorke, late of Lamont, formerly of Mayerthorpe, passed away on Sunday, December 5, at the age of 61 years. She is survived by her loving family; her 4 children, Michael (Robyn) Yorke of Sherwood Park, Patricia (Aaron) Rognvaldson of Rocky Mountain House, Stephen (Angela) Yorke of Ardrossan, and Leahann (Adam) McKinnon of Sherwood Park; and their father, Barry Yorke of Stettler; her grandchildren, Megan, Dylan, Sarah and Emily Yorke, Conor and Keira Rognvaldson, Alyssa, Hailey, and Noah Yorke, and Christine McKinnon. Alice is also remembered by her 2 brothers and 4 sisters, Doug Adams and Mel Adams, Elaine Broughton, Audrey Nasby, Marion Wooden, and Melanie Edmonds, as well as numerous other family and many dear friends.

Alice will be remembered for her love of children and animals. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her dedication, loyalty and honesty were felt by all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 10004 – 101 Street, Fort Saskatchewan.
