Anton David Chorney

David was born on May 31, 1945, in St. Paul, Alberta. Known affectionately as Dave, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was widely respected for his strong work ethic, generous nature, and unwavering dedication to his family—especially in his roles as a loving and supportive father and grandfather.

Dave found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved farming and gardening, playing cards, fishing, staying busy, and spending treasured time at the lake with family and friends. An avid traveller, he cherished exploring the world alongside his beloved wife, Brenda, creating many lasting memories together.

David is survived by his children, Grant, Paula, and Greg Chorney (Krista); his cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Maya, and Grace; and his brother, Bobby Chorney (Marilyn). He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Brenda; his mother, Anne; and his father, John Chorney.

David will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on May 6, 2026 at First Memorial Funeral Services-Riverview Chapel.
