Dale Alan Rice

November 20, 1962 - May 14, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dale Alan Rice, on May 14, 2023 at the age of 60.

Predeceased by his father Clyde Lyall Rice and brothers Lyall and Wayne Rice. Survived by his daughter, Mandy Rice (Ryan), mother Gwen Rice, nephew Brad Rice (Sarah, children Gracie and Lyla) and niece Shawna McLeary (Tim, children Ryler, Wylder and Colter).

Dale was a man of few words who showed his love through acts of service and the most beautifully picked cards for every occasion, which both his daughter and mother have always cherished and now will cherish and hold even more dear to their hearts. He spent his working days with Strathcona County and then Sureway Construction where he was a part of building several Alberta highways. When he wasn’t working he was keeping busy maintaining the various properties he lived on over the years - always keeping his grass looking sharp! In his later years, he spent a great deal of time caring for his mother’s property where he grew up and then called home again for the last several years. He also loved his trucks! Never without a towel on the seat to keep it clean and music turned up loud and the window down. His imprint will be forever felt by those closest to him.
