Dorothy passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughter and grandson on 9th May 2015.
Dorothy lived most of her life in Edson and just recently in Fort Saskatchewan. She was employed by ATB for 30 years, a member of the Legion and an avid bingo player. She was predeceased by her mother, Ruby and the love of her life, husband, David.
She is survived by her only daughter, Yvonne (Larry); two grandchildren, Nikki (Joe) with great-grandsons Brady and Gavin of Minneapolis; and Lonnie (Christy) with great-granddaughter, Lacey of Fort Saskatchewan.
In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes there will be no formal service and cremation has taken place.
Words cannot explain the love, care and respect Dorothy received from the staff at the Fort Saskatchewan Rivercrest Care Centre. God Bless them for all that they are and all that they do. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the SPCA.
