Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Dad passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 89. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth (Liz); children, Blaine (Tania), Brad (Katrina), and Kim (Brent); and grandchildren, Danahe, Daniel, Jayden, Spencer, and Braxton.
He was predeceased by his Dad (Walter); Mom (Nettie); brothers, (Joe and Frank); and sisters (Mary and Pauline).
He was a devoted family man. His greatest joy was the time he spent with the people he loved the most. He was endlessly proud of his children and grandchildren and never missed a chance to share their accomplishments. Whether through his quiet support and guidance he made sure his family felt love and cared for. His pride in his family will remain one of greatest gifts he leaves behind. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
