Jim is survived by his daughter, Brittny South of Alberta; his mother, Wanda Lalande (Andre) of Ontario; Grandfather, Leo Edwards of Ontario; Grandmother, Alice Quinn of Ontario. Brothers, Steve South (Amy), Adam Lalande, and Joey Lalande of Ontario; and sisters, Stacey South (Craig), Tracy Woodward (Andy), and Nicole Patterson (Dan) of Ontario; and partner, Sarah Kidd of Alberta. Jim also leaves behind a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim is predeceased by his father, Bob South; mother, Helen South; and nephew, Parker Woodward of Ontario. Grandparents, Clare and Dorothy South and Mary Edwards of Ontario as well as several aunts and uncles.
Jim was a long time member of the Heat and Frost Insulators local 110. He loved to spend time in the kitchen and with his family and friends. Jim was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and his loud and boisterous laugh.
A celebration of Life will be held on July 16th 2021 at the Moyer Recreation Centre in Josephburg from 3-8pm.
