Mary, I have fond memories of Jerome as a kind, dedicated teacher from the year I spent in Worsley.  Jerome always seemed to know when I needed to have a "pick me up" and would invite me to your trailer for supper, conversation, and laughter.  Jerome introduced me to your skill as an artist, Mary, and your watercolors still hang in my home today.

My deepest condolences to his children for the loss of their father. He was an amazing man!

I was fortunate enough to meet him, and he graciously helped me with me a pre-calculus course in grade 12 which allowed me to get into engineering school. I owe him a lot.

During one of the tutoring sessions in Mundare, he showed me how to make a cardioid (heart shape) at the bottom of a coffee mug if you hold it just right in-front of one source of light (like a window). Every time i see it one in my mug, I’m transported back to Mary and his kitchen in Mundare and can see both of their beautiful warm smiles.
